Noctua Case Fan NF-A4x10 5V PWM

Quiet 5V fan with a 4-pin PWM connector. The NF-A4x10 5V PWM is a special PWM-controlled 5V version of Noctua's highly optimized silent 40x10mm premium fan, utilizing the AAO frame system and advanced aerodynamic design features such as Flow Acceleration Channels. The custom-designed NE-FD3 PWM IC with integrated Smooth Commutation Drive technology, along with the reference-class SSO2 bearing, ensures excellent smoothness and outstanding long-term stability. Modular cabling, the OmniJoin adapter set, and a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty make the NF-A4x10 5V PWM a premium solution for demanding 5V applications with PWM control.

5V version with PWM. Particularly in devices from the networking and storage sectors, PWM-controlled 40mm fans with 5V are often used. Due to the same operating voltage, PWM support, and the included OmniJoin adapter set, which allows connection to proprietary connectors, the NF-A4x10 5V PWM is ideal for replacing loud or defective 5V 40mm fans with PWM.

Flow Acceleration Channels. The impeller of the NF-A4x10 is equipped on the intake side with so-called Flow Acceleration Channels. By accelerating the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, intake-side vortex detachments are reduced, leading to higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

AAO Frame System. Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frames feature integrated vibration dampers as well as a stepped inlet design and inner surface microstructures, enabling even better performance/noise efficiency.
