The NU50 is another model from the NU series. The NU50 is powered by a permanently installed rechargeable battery type 21700 with a capacity of 4000 mAh. This extends the light duration in the individual light levels by approx. 10 % compared to the NU43. Improved charging electronics enable the battery to be fully charged via the USB-C charging port in just 2 hours. The Nitecore NU50 can also be used while charging. A suitable accessory will soon be available for this, which can be attached to the headband. The housing is made of metal and polycarbonate. This mixture results in the low weight. The 32 mm wide headband ensures a comfortable fit and optimum weight distribution. The built-in optical sensor abruptly reduces the brightness as soon as it detects an obstacle in front of it. This prevents overheating due to unintentional switching on.
