The Nitecore MH40GTR is an advancement of the MH40GT. The CREE XP-L HI V3 LED, combined with a deep reflector measuring 70 mm in diameter, achieves an impressive beam distance of 1004 meters. The MH40GTR comes with two Li-Ion batteries that can be charged directly in the flashlight. The Nitecore MH40GTR features two brightness levels: maximum brightness (constant mode) and a customizable mode that can be programmed. By rotating the head, you can switch between the modes.

Performance and runtime (2 x 18650 Li-Ion battery with 3500mAh):
- Turbo (1200 Lumens) for approximately 2 hours
- High (380 Lumens) for approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes
- Mid (100 Lumens) for approximately 27 hours
- Low (15 Lumens) for approximately 140 hours
