The NiSi Allure Soft Filter creates a fog effect and scatters and attenuates strong light entering the lens, creating a diffuse glow effect. The resulting image appears softer and more atmospheric, with little loss of clarity and detail. Like all NiSi products, the filter is made of high quality optical glass.

Numerous strategies have been developed to soften images or diffuse light to create that special atmosphere by softening excessive sharpness and contrast. The ideal tool for this is the NiSi Allure Soft Filter.

Because of this filter's soft focus effect, it is often used in portrait photography, which can conceal imperfections on the face or skin. In landscape photography, the use of the soft filter can create a glow effect in strong light.
