The famous adventurer Adol "The Red" Christin and his companion Dogi arrive in Balduq, a city that has been annexed by the Romun Empire. However, before Adol can even set foot in the city, he is arrested. During his captivity, he encounters Aprilis, who transforms him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural powers and exorcistic abilities. Adol must ally with other Monstrums to combat the terrifying dangers that invade from the mysterious dimension of Grimwald Nox. On his adventure, Adol uncovers the mystery of the Monstrum curse and the truth behind the ongoing unrest in Balduq.
