Nintendo Ion Fury

Ion Fury is a true old-school first-person shooter from the legendary 3D Realms, publisher 1C Entertainment, and indie studio Voidpoint, set in a cyberpunk metropolis. Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison embarks on a mission to defeat the evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel in the streets of Neo DC. She leaves a trail of destruction in massive, multi-layered levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman enemies lurking around every corner. There is no regenerating health here – stop hiding and start running and shooting.

Shelly's crusade against Heskel's army will leave her with a wide arsenal of weapons, including alternative fire modes and various types of ammunition for destruction.

Ion Fury scoffs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the great new things that the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Absolutely. More physics and interactivity? You bet. 3D Realms, Voidpoint, and 1C Entertainment have taken the best of both worlds and blended it all into a bloody stew.
