Nikon SB-500 flash unit

This compact and practical flash unit can be used with Nikon DSLRs and some COOLPIX cameras and is compatible with Nikon's advanced Creative Lighting System. It is equipped with an extremely intense LED light, which is very useful when filming.

The flash unit is compact and lightweight, allowing for easy control of the quality and direction of the light. A powerful LED is integrated into the front of the flash, making it handy for filming and close-ups. The SB-500 is compatible with Nikon's advanced Creative Lighting System and allows wireless control of multiple flash units.

Compact i-TTL flash: Compatible with FX and DX format DSLRs and COOLPIX cameras with contact flash, as well as Nikon's advanced Creative Lighting System.

Built-in LED light: High-intensity (100 lx) LED light on the front of the flash, which is very convenient when filming. The LED light illuminates the area according to the viewing angle of the 24mm lens (FX format) and provides excellent color reproduction.

Ease of use: Ergonomic design and simple controls on the side of the unit. The camera menu allows you to set additional functions and the flash mode, which is automatically activated when the SB-500 is connected to the camera.

Guide number: 24 (78.7) m (ft) at ISO 100; Coverage - lens viewing angle of 24 mm (FX format).

Portability: Compact, lightweight design; operates on two AA batteries.

Versatility / light direction control: The flash can be tilted 90° and rotated 180° horizontally. By controlling the direction of the light, you can realize creative ideas in photography or create more balanced images in difficult lighting conditions.

Compatibility with Nikon's Advanced Creative Lighting System: The SB-500 can be used as a master flash and can control multiple external flashes for cameras that have a built-in flash as a controller.
