The myAVR boards are learning and experimentation systems for AVR microcontrollers from the company ATMEL. They are available in both LPT and USB variants. Each board features an integrated programmer and serial communication with the PC. Additionally, typical input and output devices such as potentiometers, buttons, speakers, and LEDs are included on the boards. The connections between the input and output devices and the controller ports can be freely configured via patch sockets. All myAVR boards have at least one expansion slot for additional boards, such as the myAVR LCD Add-On or the laboratory card, where the ports and board voltage are accessible. The myAVR Workpad SE is a German development environment for creating, compiling, burning, and testing assembler programs for the myAVR boards. It offers numerous useful features, such as templates and examples for commonly used functions, automatic monitoring of labels, and a quick reference for all commands and registers.
