Adjustable Termination and Pull-High/Low Resistors

When using termination resistors, it is also important to properly set the pull-high/low resistors to ensure that the electrical signal is not distorted. Since there is no set of resistor values that is universally compatible with all environments, the NPort® 5100 Device Servers come with jumpers that allow the values for termination and pull-high/low resistors to be adjusted for each serial port.
