Product details
The IEX-402 is an entry-level industrial managed Ethernet extender equipped with a 10/100BaseT(X) and a DSL port. This Ethernet extender provides point-to-point extension over twisted copper lines based on the G.SHDSL or VDSL2 standard. The device supports data rates of up to 15.3 Mbit/s and a long transmission distance of up to 8 km for G.SHDSL connections; for VDSL2 connections, it supports data rates of up to 100 Mbit/s and a long transmission distance of up to 3 km. The IEX-402 series is designed for use in harsh environments. With DIN rail mounting, a wide operating temperature range (-40 to 75°C), and two power inputs, it is ideal for installation in industrial applications. To simplify configuration, the IEX-402 uses CO/CPE auto-negotiation. By default, the device automatically assigns the CPE status to one of the two IEX devices. Additionally, Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) and network redundancy interoperability enhance the reliability and availability of communication networks. Furthermore, advanced management and monitoring features through MXview, including a virtual panel, improve user-friendliness for quick troubleshooting.
Additional features and benefits:
- Standard G.SHDSL data rate of up to 5.7 Mbit/s, with a transmission distance of up to 8 km (performance varies depending on cable quality)
- Moxa's proprietary Turbo-Speed connections of up to 15.3 Mbit/s
- Supports Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) and Line-Swap Fast Recovery
- Supports SNMP v1/v2c/v3 for various levels of network management
- Interoperable with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain network redundancy
