Product details

Moxa Industrial CAN Bus to Fiber Converter with Multi-Mode ST (Extended Temperature Model)

Description
The ICF-1170I series CAN Bus to Fiber Converters are used to convert CAN signals from copper to fiber. The converters feature optical isolation of 2 kV for the CAN Bus system and two power inputs with alarm contact relays to ensure that your CAN Bus system remains online.

Fiber Test Mode
The Fiber Test Mode can be used to test the fiber optic cable between two ICF-1170I units, providing a simple way to determine if the fiber optic cable is transmitting data correctly. In Fiber Test Mode, the fiber transceiver (TX) continuously emits a data signal, and the "Fiber TX" LED lights up. When the ICF-1170I fiber transceiver (RX) on the other side of the connection receives the data signal from the TX side, the "Fiber RX" LED lights up.
