MOTU 848

The MOTU 848 comes as the successor to the MOTU 1248. It offers all the features in one device to transform a computer into a high-performance digital 24-bit/192 kHz audio workstation. The 848 connects to a Mac, PC, or iOS device via the included 40 Gbps USB-C cable (compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4, USB4, USB3, and USB2) and provides up to 256 audio channels (128 inputs and 128 outputs) depending on the host computer's connection. The class-compliant firmware and proven MOTU drivers work with all major audio apps, delivering industry-leading, extremely low round-trip latency (RTL) of less than 2 ms at 96 kHz with powerful DAW hosts. The USB audio class-compliant firmware allows connection to an iPad or any iOS device via USB-C or a standard camera connection kit (Lightning adapter sold separately).
