The active near-field monitors from Monkey Banana stand out not only for their striking appearance. The cabinet is made from specially manufactured MDF, which has particularly good acoustic properties. The shape has been perfected to minimize standing waves and ensure a maximum degree of sound neutrality. For the first time, Monkey Banana speakers use NDFeB neodymium magnets, which provide a particularly low magnetic distortion and thus the highest precision.

A key focus of the Turbo series monitors is to ensure linear diaphragm displacement even at high volumes. The use of a specially developed ferrite driver, which generates significantly more magnetic flux than conventional ferrite drivers, enhances the speaker's durability and prevents material fatigue.

This is complemented by flexible input options: In addition to an XLR/6.3 mm combo input and an unbalanced RCA input, users have access to a digital SPDIF input with a thru output. This makes it easy to integrate these speakers perfectly into any digital environment.
