Safety and warning notices: Use the device only indoors and protect it from dripping and splashing water, high humidity, and heat (permissible operating temperature range 0 - 40 °C). If not used for an extended period, remove the batteries. This will protect the device from damage in case of battery leakage. If the device is to be permanently taken out of service, hand it over to a local recycling facility for environmentally friendly disposal. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Dispose of them according to local regulations in special waste.

In operation, there may be hazardous voltage present at the speaker connections of an amplifier. Measurements should only be conducted on speakers or speaker lines that are disconnected from the amplifier. Connecting an amplifier may lead to incorrect measurements and potentially damage the measuring device. Turn off the amplifier before disconnecting the speakers.
