DSM-48DT
Convenient audio management in the network ...
The Dante® interface allows the DSM-48DT digital loudspeaker management system to be conveniently integrated into a Dante® audio network as a 2-channel receiver.
The two Dante® signals are available for the input channels IN3 and IN4 as an alternative to the analog inputs and the digital input.
This gives the DSM-48DT the ability to receive one stereo or two mono audio signals from other Dante®-enabled devices that are on the same subnet, and process them in the same way as an analog or AES/EBU signal. Speaker management systems that have analog inputs as well as outputs and also offer a Dante® interface are called breakout boxes.

"The functional scope of the controllers is convincingly pertinent and provides all the necessary functions to effectively control and optimize a sound system ... To establish a Dante connection between the controller and an appropriately equipped transmitter ... a simple CAT line is physically sufficient. And this is exactly where the charm of this network solution lies: It is wonderfully simple. Even existing house installations can be used quickly and easily for the transmission of audio material. In the case of the DSM-48 DT, this works perfectly. ... but the festival day was simply brilliant: the network was configured in no time at all and ran smoothly from the first to the last minute.
