The Modal Electronics Argon8X is a powerful 8-voice wavetable synthesizer with advanced sound design capabilities. Its DNA and traditions largely trace back to the acclaimed Modal 002 model. The Argon8X is packed into a road-ready steel and aluminum chassis, and its oscillator section includes 120 carefully curated wavetable sources, enabling the most sophisticated sound shaping possibilities through 28 different wavetable processors. It features a massive modulation matrix (12x52), three envelope generators, an arpeggiator, and a full-sized 61-key FATAR keyboard. The sound range covers everything from virtual analog classics to impressive EDM beats. Additionally, the Argon8X has a class compliant USB MIDI connection, allowing it to be used in an integrated system. A free ModalApp software editor is available for MacOSX, Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems as well as VST3 and AU plugin DAW applications.
