Mindscape Recompile

3D-Sci-Fi Metroidvania Recompile offers intense combat, tight platforming, supercharged abilities, and a unique environmental hacking system. Many obstacles, including enemies, can be manipulated and bypassed. The story explores various themes, from machine sentience to the nature of reality. The player, a malicious program with semi-sentient code, finds themselves trapped in The Mainframe – a vast digital wasteland that is determined to eliminate intruders.

Recompile is based on a storytelling system that is unique to the genre. Unlike a typical Metroidvania, it offers dynamic outcomes based on play style, meaning player choices can alter the world and lead to one of several endings.

Challenges include intelligent enemies and complex environmental puzzles, all requiring mastery of many unlockable abilities such as time dilation, explosive weapons, and even jetpack flight.
