For portable operation with batteries or alkaline batteries, two interchangeable battery compartments are included. These can be easily swapped for the onboard power adapter with a 12V cigarette lighter connection to operate the device in a vehicle. External CB antennas with a PL connector can be connected via the additional antenna connection of the onboard power adapter. The accessory connection according to the Midland/Albrecht 2-pin standard allows for the connection of external headsets for any application.
