Unter dem Strich hinterließ Kinect im netzwelt-Test einen sehr guten Eindruck. Zwar ist Sonys Playstation Move deutlich präziser als das Microsoft-System. Doch fehlt der Move ganz klar das Wow-Erlebnis, dass die Xbox-Steuerung bietet. Playstation Move erscheint eher als bessere Wii, Microsofts Ansatz war in dieser Perfektion im Heimbereich bislang dagegen noch nicht erlebbar...
Die Kinect-Technik hat riesiges Potenzial für innovative Steuerungskonzepte - auch außerhalb des Spielegenres.
Microsofts Kinect ist eine technische Revolution und funktioniert ebenso einfach wie präzise. Allerdings eignet es sich wegen seiner etwas trägen Reaktion derzeit noch nicht für schnelle Actionspiele. Das ist bedauerlich - angesichts des Preises von 150 Euro hätte man etwas mehr Tempo erwarten dürfen.
Der Wow-Effekt ist definitiv vorhanden! Kinect funktioniert gut, wenn ihr genug Platz in eurem Wohnzimmer habt.
Auch wenn sich fast alles aus der ersten Präsentation als Zukunftsmusik erwiesen hat, ist Kinect technisch ein sehr spannendes Gerät. Leider kann aber noch keines der bisher erhältlichen Spiele wirklich überzeugen. Zwar machen die guten Verkaufszahlen (zumindest nach Microsofts Angaben) Hoffnung, dass in Zukunft auch noch bessere Spiele erscheinen werden, doch im Moment ist der Einstiegspreis von 150...
