The Rise Begins
Experience the horror and brutality of Emergence Day. Join Marcus Fenix and
Dominic Santiago in a gripping origin story campaign, as the Locust horde bursts forth from beneath the ground for the first time and
a desperate struggle for survival erupts. Assemble your team and continue the fight in multiplayer with a reimagining of Gears’ iconic
Gears’ PvE mode, Horde Siege, or go head-to-head in a revamped Versus PvP. Developed from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5,
Gears of War: E-Day is the most immersive Gears experience yet.
A terrifying threat from beneath the ground
A darker, grittier tone and reimagined enemies bring fear and terror back to the series. Atmosphere and detail are taken
further than ever before. The world feels more realistic, more believable and more dangerous. Familiar enemies seem more menacing and are joined by
entirely new creatures and villains that convey a genuine sense of horror.
Legendary multiplayer, taken to the next level.
Immerse yourself in a larger and more perilous PvE battlefield in Horde Siege, an evolved version of Gears’ iconic co-op wave survival mode
. Prove yourself in competitive Versus PvP and battle it out on brand-new maps in revamped 4-on-4 modes.
Feels like Gears. Plays like new.
The iconic cover-based combat is back, enhanced with modernised movement and manoeuvring options that allow for greater freedom and
vertical gameplay. Fan-favourite weapons return, reimagined – alongside brand-new weapons for
brutal close-quarters combat.
Online and split-screen co-op.
Play online* with up to four players in Campaign, Horde, Siege and Versus modes. Team up locally with a 2-player split-screen on the
console.
Requires downloading content. Internet connection and Xbox Game Pass required for online multiplayer

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
