The clear control panel on the back of the device impresses with its ease of use and provides high operational reliability. The high performance offers reserves of power in every photo situation (max. guide number 44 at ISO 100/21 and 105 mm). Depending on the camera, it provides the right application option for every lighting situation in TTL mode. Manually, the photographer can access up to four light output levels, allowing for creative control over lighting. For video recording, the newly integrated high-performance LED provides additional light.
With the appropriate camera model, the mecablitz can be synchronized with the first or second curtain of the shutter and supports short time synchronization. This offers variable options for creative lighting design. Depending on the camera, the Metz 44 AF-2 also offers a slave mode, making wireless TTL flash photography incredibly easy and opening up new dimensions in flash photography. Its motor zoom function (24–105 mm), fully tiltable reflector with extendable reflector card, and integrated wide-angle diffuser (12 mm) give photographers additional creative freedom.
