Product details

The potential separator / signal converter is used for the separation of analog signals in the range of 0 to 10 V DC and 0 to 20 mA DC or for signal conversion from 0 to 10 V DC to 0 to 20 mA DC or from 0 to 20 mA DC to 0 to 10 V DC. The input and output signals as well as the supply voltage are mutually isolated. An input signal of either 0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 mA can be connected to the device.

Function of potential separation: In the PT-C12 230, the input signal from 0 to 10 V is proportionally matched to the output signal from 0 to 10 V. The PTi-C12 230 matches the input signal from 0 to 20 mA proportionally to the output signal from 0 to 20 mA.

Function of signal conversion with potential separation: In the conversion of signals from 0 to 10 V to 0 to 20 mA or from 0 to 20 mA to 0 to 10 V, the converted output signal can be fine-tuned using the integrated spindle trimmer. Additionally, a manual emergency operation level with a HAND-AUTO switch and feedback contact is integrated. Using the front-mounted potentiometer, the output signal can be set to 0 to 10 V or 0 to 20 mA in the HAND switch position. A constant output voltage of up to 10 V DC, 5 mA is available at the terminal 10 V. The integrated LED indicates brightness, depending on the level of the output signal Ua. Connection is made with spring-loaded terminals (Push-In).
