The OpDAT fiber optic cable from Metz Connect is a high-quality simplex patch cable specifically designed for connecting fiber optic connection boxes to end devices in FITH applications. It uses a single-mode fiber (OS2) with a diameter of 9/125 µm and is designed according to the standards IEC 60793-2-50 and G.657.A2 as well as B2 to ensure high bend resistance. The cable jacket is halogen-free and features low smoke emission, making it a safe choice for various applications. The cable is 100% tested for insertion and return loss and comes with a serial number for traceability. With an outer diameter of 2.8 mm, the cable is compact and lightweight, facilitating installation. It is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C, providing reliable performance in diverse environments.
