The OpDAT FTTH patch cable from Metz Connect is a high-quality fiber optic cable specifically designed for connecting fiber optic connection boxes to end devices in FTTH applications. It is a simplex patch cable with a single-mode fiber (OS2) that exhibits high bend resistance and complies with the standards IEC 60793-2-50 as well as G.657.A2 and B2. With an outer diameter of 2.8 mm and a halogen-free cable sheath that produces low smoke, this cable is both safe and efficient. It has been extensively tested for insertion and return loss to ensure reliable performance. The use of gold-plated contacts and the APC version of the connectors ensures optimal signal transmission. The cable is available in a length of 10 meters and is ideal for applications requiring high data transfer rates.
