Product details

Crafted in Thailand in the traditional Burmese style, the Meinl Sonic Energy Thai Gongs are a beautiful blend of sound and craftsmanship. Made from bronze, these gongs produce deep, resonant tones that are ideal for meditation, sound therapy, and musical performances. Carefully hand-hammered, each gong is unique in appearance and sound, giving each piece its own character and resonance. This artisanal quality extends to the included traditional mallet, which may vary slightly in style, adding an authentic touch. The mallets are made from fabric sourced from the robes of Buddhist monks, with a core made from recycled jute rice bags, emphasizing sustainability and cultural significance. The gongs can be played by hand or mounted on a stand, offering flexibility for different playing styles and settings. A distinctive feature of these gongs is the raised central boss, surrounded by an elegantly carved floral design. Please note that each gong is unique; variations in the hand-hammered patterns and coloring due to the heating process may occur.
