Meinl 24" / 60cm Wind Gong - Yin & Yang

The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted using a special bronze alloy. The gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. Their shape is nearly flat, which allows the vibration of the gong to spread extremely widely while maintaining a long sustain. The sound characteristic is predominantly deep, and when played more forcefully, it beautifully unfolds with wave-like overtones. Each gong comes with a mallet tailored to the size of the gong. Yin and Yang represent harmony and balance. They denote opposites that do not fight each other but rather complement one another. "The primal principle moves and generates Yang.
