High-End Insulation Resistance Measurement for Utility Providers

The new S1 series insulation testers are particularly beneficial for utility providers and service companies. They feature many important characteristics such as a short-circuit current of 6 mA, noise suppression up to 8 mA with four filter options, and insulation resistance measurement ranges up to 15 TΩ at 5 kV for the S1-568 and up to 32 TΩ at 10 kV for the S1-1068. The measurement accuracy at +23 ºC is ± 5% for measurements up to 1 TΩ at 5 kV and 2 TΩ at 10 kV.

The new S1 series insulation resistance testers are significantly lighter and smaller than their predecessors. They offer enhanced features and can be charged much faster. The series includes two models: the S1-568 with a test voltage of 5 kV and the S1-1068 with a test voltage of 10 kV.

Impact-resistant, robust, strong

The impact-resistant outdoor carrying case protects the device from damage in case of a fall, and the interior is fire-resistant. The rugged housing with an IP65 protection rating reliably protects the device from moisture, dirt, and dust during use. The accessory pouch on the lid ensures that the test leads are always available.

Outstanding productivity with and without mains power! During charging, measurements can continue without restrictions – safely according to measurement category CAT IV / 600 V. No more annoying waiting for the battery to charge.

Easy to use

An intuitive user interface ensures a quick start in operating the device. The device is easy to operate thanks to two sturdy rotary switches and a large, backlit LCD display for measurement results and parameters. A graphical quick reference guide in the device lid supports easy operation. Functional safety is built-in, and both models are specified according to measurement category CAT IV 600 V.
