The HVGC-480 series from MEAN WELL has a metal housing that is encapsulated with a thermally conductive epoxy resin. This makes it dust and waterproof, achieving protection ratings of IP65 and IP67. With a wide input range of 180 to 528VAC, it can be operated over two phases without a neutral wire. Thanks to a high efficiency of up to 94.5%, the power supply features a fanless design, is cooled solely by convection, and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +90°C. The power supplies are ENEC certified and have protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and overheating.
