The MCHOSE G87 is a wireless mechanical keyboard with an 80% layout that provides a pleasantly soft and quiet typing experience thanks to its gasket-mount construction. It features the Ice Shadow Switch, a linear switch with an exceptionally light actuation force. The switch includes a POK stem made of POM material, a nylon top and bottom housing, and a dust-protected design. With an actuation force of 35 ± 8 gf, a pre-travel distance of 2.0 ± 0.4 mm, and a total travel distance of 3.6 ± 0.4 mm, it offers a smooth, consistent typing feel with a HiFi-like sound profile—ideal for users who value precision and smooth operation. The hot-swap sockets support 3-pin and 5-pin switches, allowing for customization without soldering. The G87 can be flexibly used in various setups through tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB-C).

A zinc alloy 3-way volume knob enables precise media control. The durable PBT keycaps provide a matte, abrasion-resistant surface, while the RGB soft light illumination with 16.8 million colors creates a subtle lighting atmosphere. The MCHOSE HUB software allows for easy customization of macros, lighting, and key assignments. An integrated 10,000 mAh battery ensures up to 111 days of usage and is protected by NTC temperature control.
