The combination of type 25 sockets and CEE 16-5 is particularly suitable for use in industry. When the hinged cover is closed, the IP44 protection rating includes protection against the ingress of the smallest solid foreign bodies (IP4X) and against splashing water from all sides (IPX4). Even after years of outdoor exposure, the cable does not become brittle as it is resistant to UV rays, oil and acids. The direction of rotation of connected three-phase motors can be changed using the integrated phase inverter without having to reconnect the supply cable. The reel can be locked with the parking brake to prevent the cable from unintentionally rolling out under tension. The solid double-tube frame ensures stability even under load. Thermal protection is integrated into the cable reel to prevent overheating.
