When the hinged cover is closed, the IP44 protection rating includes protection against the ingress of the smallest solid foreign bodies (IP4X) as well as against splashing water from all sides (IPX4). Even after years of outdoor exposure, the cable does not become brittle as it is resistant to UV rays, oil and acids. The cable is automatically rolled up after use. This effectively prevents accidents caused by cables lying around. The integrated bracket for wall mounting allows the cable reel to be fixed firmly to a wall or in a cabinet. Thermal protection is integrated into the cable reel to prevent overheating.
