The Matrox M9120 renders images with high picture quality and is optimized for multi-monitor use. It achieves high resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 pixels (DVI) or 2048 x 1536 pixels (VGA) per output. In addition to PCI-Express (x16) for maximum bandwidth, 512 MB of DDR2 memory enhances performance in multi-display applications.

The M9120 offers modern desktop management features such as extending the Windows taskbar across multiple displays and displaying in independent mode or as a stretched desktop. The included Matrox PowerDesk software simplifies the configuration and management of program windows across multiple monitors. Additionally, the number of supported monitors can be increased by using another Matrox M-series graphics card.
