The Mastervolt Mac Plus DC-DC charger is designed for charging consumer batteries in watercraft, recreational vehicles, commercial vans, and trucks. Available in 12V and 24V versions with a 50A output, this charger addresses common charging issues such as voltage drop due to long cable runs and compatibility problems with modern smart alternators in Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicles. The device features a proven three-stage charging method that ensures fast and safe battery charging, even during short trips. It automatically detects engine operation to protect the starter battery while continuously charging the consumer batteries. The Mac Plus supports various battery technologies including flooded, gel, AGM, and lithium-ion batteries including LiFePO4 chemistry. With voltage stabilization capabilities, it protects sensitive devices, lighting, and other consumers from voltage fluctuations. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to achieve charging currents over 100A. The device has MasterBus connectivity for intelligent system monitoring and automation, along with temperature and voltage compensation for optimal charging performance. With dimensions of 255 x 165 x 66 mm and a weight of 2 kg, the fanless design ensures silent operation, while robust connections and DIP switches allow for easy installation. Certified with CE and E-Mark approvals for mobile applications, this charger maintains an efficiency of over 95 percent with peak efficiency up to 97 percent.
