The Marumi DHG Super ND500 filter can delay a specific aperture by 9 stops. This means a longer shutter speed at the same aperture. Therefore, you do not need to close the aperture further if you desire a longer exposure time. This longer exposure time allows you to capture movement in a photo, such as flowing water.
