Marumi Grey Filter DHG ND16 55 mm

A Marumi DHG ND (Digital High Grade Natural Density) is a neutral density filter that allows you to control the bright light entering the lens. These ND16 filters are multi-coated, significantly reducing the reflection of incoming light without disturbing the color balance.

Use of the Marumi DHG ND16 55 mm Neutral Density Filter

When there is too much light or if you want to use a different aperture at the same shutter speed, you can use a neutral density filter. The filter reduces the light intensity. With the Marumi DHG ND16 filter, you can slow down a specific aperture value by 4 stops.

You do not need to further stop down the aperture if you desire a longer shutter speed. This longer shutter speed allows you to capture motion in an image and prevents the moving image from being duplicated or "ghosted." A good example is a picture of flowing water.
