The steel provides a balanced tone with crisp highs, a focused midrange, and deep lows, while the hammered indentations create a drier sound while maintaining a solid metallic crack. The available sizes and tuning range allow the drum to perform well across an extreme variety of styles, from light rock to heavy metal. It features a 1.0 mm hammered steel shell with fully adjustable throw-off and single-point contact snare wires.
