This makes smooth movements and quick format changes a breeze. A ball head provides the flexibility you need in your everyday photography.

Robust and versatile, loadable up to 6 kg. The mantona Scout XL ball head is lightweight, sturdy, and can support up to 6 kg. It features a locking lever with friction function for secure operation. The ball head also has two U-shaped cutouts for rapid format changes. The height of the mantona Scout ball head is 105 mm, with a weight of 395 g including the standard quick-release plate. The quick-release plate can be easily inserted from the side or from above. A quick-release mechanism with lever and clip securely locks your camera in place and reliably prevents accidental release of the plate. The ball head has a 3/8 inch threaded hole on the bottom, allowing it to be mounted on all compatible tripods. A 3/8 to 1/4 inch thread adapter is included, so tripods with a 1/4 inch connection can also be used.

Versatile use. The mantona Scout XL ball head is particularly recommended for use with the mantona Scout tripod series (and is also included as standard with the Max and Max Macro models), but can certainly be used with other photo or lamp tripods as well. The mantona Scout XL ball head already comes with a quick-release plate as standard. Practically useful additional quick-release plates are available separately under the mantona part number 18004. The rubberized quick-release plate ensures stable and secure holding.
