Product details

Manhattan magnetic stripe card readers provide high-quality data capture for a variety of applications to improve routine sales transactions and secure information exchange. The standard length slot reads both high and low coercivity stripes and provides maximum stability and contact for precise, bi-directional reading of up to three tracks of magnetic stripe data. Audio and LED indicators confirm and signal valid data acquisition. Ideal for a variety of applications, including point-of-sale and self-service retail transactions and access control applications, Manhattan magnetic stripe card readers are easy to implement and simple to use. A built-in keyboard wedge decoder sends the scanned data to an active application where it appears as if it had been entered manually or directly into the computer. Quickly installed via any USB port, it can be integrated into most PCs without external power or complicated programming.
