The MVH500A is a lightweight video head with a longer sliding quick-release plate, making it the ideal solution for the latest generation of HDSLRs and camcorders with interchangeable lenses. The sliding plate provides excellent balance and support for long lenses. As the smallest model in our range of heads with Bridging Technology, it can support up to 5 kg of camera equipment. The MVH500A, a successor to the 701HDV, comes with a 60 mm half bowl. For beautiful and smooth shots: thanks to the genuine fluid cartridges on both the tilt and pan axes, camera movements are as controlled and precise as those of a professional. The 500 head is particularly quick and secure to use due to its side locking mechanism: simply snap the camera with the quick-release plate into the head from the side, and it is firmly and securely in place without any additional tightening required. The side locking also allows for faster and safer removal of the camera from the head than usual. The 500 head features a preset counterbalance of 2.4 kg and a load capacity of 5 kg. Additionally, the head supports the attachment of further accessories through the Easy-Link 3/8" thread. The Manfrotto MVT502AM video tripod with double aluminum tubes offers videographers a lightweight and compact support for their camera. It is characterized by easy handling and user-friendliness. The Manfrotto MVT502AM is a two-stage video tripod with three double tube segments, making the tripod extremely compact when closed.
