Product details

The Makerfactory Hexapod Robot Board enables the construction of your own hexapod robot based on various microcontroller boards, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or NodeMCU. On these boards, custom programs can be created that communicate the movement direction to the motion controller via the communication interface (Userboard to Motioncontroller), allowing them to focus on data processing from the sensors instead of being tied up with the movement algorithms. The board is designed to allow for a wide range of expansions and provides space for additional sensors. The mechanical components can be easily produced using a 3D printer and freely available STL files, allowing for customization of the Robobug's appearance according to personal preferences. This board thus provides the perfect foundation for a comprehensive production process: from planning and development to the finished, functional robot. The Hexapod Robot Board is therefore ideally suited for use in schools, training programs, and research.
