The Maclean MCE386 soldering iron is designed for soldering metallic materials using tin and lead binders for soft soldering. The comfortable ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip. It is a soldering iron in a traditional housing with a resistance heater that is powered directly from a socket. The simplicity of the design makes the device almost flawless, and with proper care of the soldering iron it will serve for many years. The power of the heating element is sufficient to properly solder two copper wires, which form the basis of electronics in through-hole mounting technology.
