Customise the sound of your Mackie CR3.5 speakers on the fly to mix a podcast episode, listen to music or soundtrack a house party - all with the same compact speaker set.

Based on the transparent reproduction expected from studio monitors, the sound can be shaped as required with the tone control. Turning up the control gradually boosts the bass and emphasises the sparkle in the high frequencies, making the CR3.5 the perfect speaker for immersive gaming, everyday listening or lively parties.

Use the position switch to toggle between desktop and bookshelf speaker modes to optimise the CR3.5 for each location. Desktop mode is recommended for near-field listening (e.g. in the studio), while bookshelf speaker mode is intended for listening from a greater distance (e.g. from the sofa).

Audio interfaces, mixing consoles, turntables and other playback devices can be connected via the TRS socket, RCA and 3.5 mm mini-jack sockets.

The integrated headphone output allows you to switch to silent listening by muting the audio output of your speakers when you connect your headphones.
