M5Stack Time-of-Flight Ranging Unit (VL53L0X)

TOF uses time-of-flight techniques to determine the distance between the emission point and the target point of an object by measuring the round-trip time of an artificial light signal generated by a laser.

This device integrates a VL53L0x distance sensor, which allows for accurate distance measurements regardless of the target's reflectivity, unlike conventional technologies. It can measure absolute distances of up to 2 meters in less than 30 ms.

This device communicates via I2C (0x29) with the M5Core.
