M5Stack NCIR Temperature Sensor Unit (MLX90614)

The NCIR MLX90614 Unit from M5Stack is a non-contact infrared temperature sensor. The sensor can be used to measure the surface temperature of a human body or a moving object. Unlike most other temperature sensors, this sensor measures the infrared light emitted by distant objects, allowing it to capture temperature without contact. The sensor has a wide measurement range from -70 °C to +380 °C. Measurements are taken over a field of view of 90 degrees, making it possible to determine an average temperature of an object as well. This unit communicates with the M5Core via the GROVE A interface, with an I2C address of 0x5A.
