This is an RS485 converter developed for ATOM, designed to convert RS485 signals into TTL signals. RS485 is a standard for electrical drivers and receivers in serial communication systems, widely used in industrial applications. RS485 enables communication over long distances in electrically noisy environments. The Tail485 module includes a DC/DC voltage regulator chip that can directly convert the 12V voltage from RS485 to 5V to power the USB Type-C interface, eliminating the need for an additional power supply.
