The Cat.8.1 LAN cables are perfect for use in high-speed networks and for connecting routers, switches, servers, patch panels, and much more. When used in conjunction with the EFB-Elektronik data socket and the EFB-Elektronik patch panel, you can achieve the optimal performance of the Cat.8 network cable. Cat.8.1 patch cables are ideal for switch-to-switch communication in data centres and server rooms. These super-fast Cat.8 network cables are also used in professional networking and media technology. Each twisted pair in Cat.8 network cables is surrounded by a foil to practically eliminate crosstalk and enable higher data transmission speeds. The halogen-free outer sheath of the LAN cable provides additional safety. In the Cat.8.1 version, the cable features a high-quality, shielded RJ45 connector with gold-plated contacts. Its bend and strain relief allows for a high number of mating cycles. Cat.8 network cables support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology for the transmission of power and data over a single cable. By reducing or eliminating the need for power cables, Cat.8 patch cables can save a significant amount of space in crowded server rooms.
