The Cat.7 network cable is practically an upgrade to the Cat.6A patch cable: The Cat.6A network cable is equipped with a Cat.7 raw cable from EFB-Elektronik. It is therefore designed for an operating frequency of up to 600 MHz and a transmission speed of up to 10 Gbit/s. In contrast, the Cat.6A raw cable has an operating frequency of 500 MHz.

Due to the increased frequency, the Cat.7 patch cable with CAT.6a connector can handle significantly more data traffic. The halogen-free outer jacket of the Cat.7 cable provides additional safety. The patch cables are manufactured with a Cat.7 raw cable to ensure the highest possible performance.
