Each lens is made of brass and high-quality glass optics and is manufactured by Zenit in Russia. The lens produces an extremely sharp image with strong color saturation and artistic vignetting, and it also enchants with a beautiful bokeh effect. For the first time ever, you can create the Petzval style with (D)SLR cameras featuring Canon EF and Nikon F mounts.

Most modern lenses are designed to minimize field curvature, ensuring that the entire image is in focus. However, the Petzval lens gives your images a very special optical effect. You achieve a very sharp area in the image while another area appears out of focus. This out-of-focus area also features vignetting that becomes more pronounced towards the edges. This helps the viewer concentrate on the focal point of the image.
