The holder for type 2 electric car charging cables (IEC 62196) with plug lock secures the cable coupling on the vehicle side of the cable between charging processes and ensures that the cable is not damaged outside of the charging process. Securely fastened to the wall, the bracket protects the charging connector from dirt and damage that would be caused by storing it on the floor, e.g. in a garage. This extends the service life of the charging cable and keeps the socket and cable clean.
