Loctite Threadlocker

Loctite® 2701 thread locker is a high-strength, low-viscosity adhesive based on methacrylate, specifically designed for securing metal threaded connections. Hand strength is achieved on steel in just 10 minutes, while full curing can take up to 24 hours. This thread locker is not only resistant to vibrations but also capable of tolerating minor oily contaminants, making it ideal for use in industrial environments. Additionally, it fluoresces under UV light, allowing for easy verification of application. Loctite® 2701 is especially suitable for chrome-plated surfaces and also provides a seal for through-holes.
